Today is the 235th birthday of my beloved Corps. Two hundred and thirty five years ago some brave and bold men met in Tun Tavern and on this day the Continental Congress authorized the formation of what would become one of the most feared and respected armed forces in the world, The United States Marine Corps.

Today I wish all Marines all over the world a Happy Birthday.

Here’s to the Corps! OOOoorah!
